PET'S ON PARADE PLAYING CARDS
In 2007 we started a NEW tradition for the Circleville Pumpkin Show. What we did was take pictures of various animals during the Pumpkin Show parade and even more when owners brought their pets by our booth. From those images we are creating our first edition of "Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show" playing cards that will released the first day of the 2008 Pumpkin Show. While no one in the general public will know who made it into the deck, everyone will be able to pick up a deck at this years Pumpkin Show. Even the animal owners themselves do NOT know who will be in the deck! It is a mystery and part of the fun.
PLEASE NOTE: We are ONLY planning on doing the "Pets on Parade" deck every 2 years. This has not been finalized yet.

In 2008 we are also releasing a deck of cards called "Pampered Pets of Pickaway County." This is NOT the same as the Pets on Parade deck. Below are a few comments to help folks understand the difference between the two...What is the Difference Between "Pets of Pickaway County" deck and the "Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show" deck:
1) **Pets of Pickaway County** is a deck people pay to be a part of. Once they pay they WILL be in the deck. If you want to be a part of this deck you can get your dogs picture taken at this years Pumpkin Show.
**Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show** is a deck that people
from ONLY THE PUMPKIN SHOW had a picture of their dog taken, but NO
ONE is guaranteed to be in the deck!
Please remember that no one knows who is in the Pets on Parade deck for sure
and they will not be able to find out until the first day of the Pumpkin
Show each year.
2) **Pets of Pickaway County** is actual close ups or poses of dogs. While you may submit your own photos, many have had photos taken at one of our locations. The final chance to get included in this deck is during the 2008 Circleville Pumpkin Show.
**Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show** is what we call a "fantasy" deck. This means we took the animals pictures on a green screen and then placed the animal in places they are not normally found. The court cards will be actual pictures of pets FROM THE PARADE.
3) **Pets of Pickaway County** is a deck of DOGS only.
**Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show** will have cats, goats, dogs and who knows what else.
4) **Pets of Pickaway County** will be available towards the end of 2008, but before Christmas.
**Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show** will NOT be available until the first night of the Pumpkin Show (or Tuesday night).
5) **Pets of Pickaway County** everyone who pays to be in the deck gets one deck as part of their purchase.
**Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show** NO ONE paid to be in the Pumpkin Show deck! EVERYONE who wants a deck of Pets on Parade MUST buy one. There are NO free decks with the Pets on Parade deck.
6) **Pets of Pickaway County** is done on various dates and includes only cute pictures of the dogs.
**Pets on Parade - Pumpkin Show** will ONLY be done during the Pumpkin Show and includes various animals along with cute sayings, etc.
Is this the only year you are doing a deck?
We plan to do another deck for 2010 so if they want to be a part of it they
will want to bring their pet during the Pumpkin Show and not only be a part
of the parade, but stop by to visit us at 102 W. Main St. to have your pets
picture taken.
My pet had its picture take, so will it be
in the deck?
NO ONE is guaranteed to have their pet in the Pets
on Parade deck. The only thing you can do is have your dogs picture
taken and wait for the following year to see if you made the cut.
