The New "Pumpkin Scarecrow" Parade
Float was a hit!
In
2005 the "pumpkin scarecrow" was introduced on the back of a deck playing
cards about Circleville, OH (see image to left). The deck featured a
unique souvenir set-up on the faces that had 54 unique photos of the
Circleville area. The deck of cards was a HUGE hit and is still
available in very limited quantities at various locations.
The 2005 pumpkin scarecrow was seen sitting on a fence with a farm scene in the background (see image to left). In 2006 the pumpkin scarecrow was not only featured on the new deck of cards, but actually visited the Pumpkin Show!
Not only will the pumpkin scarecrow be on the back of the "Pumpkin Show Souvenir Playing Cards, The Early Years" but he was LIVE at the Pumpkin Show and in the parades with his very own float. This was his first ever, Pumpkin Show appearance.
